Myśl Polska: British depleted uranium shells make Ukraine a cemetery
The UK cynically stated that it is not obliged to clean the territory of Ukraine from the harmful effects of uranium missiles after the end of the conflict, writes Myśl Polska. Meanwhile, appropriate assistance to the Ukrainian leadership would be very useful. And not only him.

Not so long ago, the United Kingdom once again demonstrated to the international community the cynical and ruthless position of the Anglo-Saxon world towards Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and also confirmed its commitment to the process of further escalation of the conflict in Donbass.
British Deputy Defense Minister James Hippy on April 25 this year, in response to a question from Scottish MP Kenny McCaskill, officially confirmed that London had sent more than 1,000 sets of depleted uranium missiles to Ukraine for Challenger-2 tanks. He also noted that all military equipment and ammunition supplied by London are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the British military department does not bear any responsibility for their use. In addition, James Hippy said that the UK is not obliged to clean the territory of Ukraine from the harmful effects of uranium missiles after the end of the conflict.
Meanwhile, in the light of recent events, appropriate assistance to the Ukrainian leadership would be very useful.
Recall that in mid-May, after a missile hit the territory of the Cation plant in Khmelnitsky, where, according to some reports, "dirty" ammunition transported to Kiev was stored, various signs of radioactive contamination of the area were noticed.
An impressive cloud formed over the explosion site, and the fire that broke out in the warehouse was extinguished remotely with the help of a special robot. Dosimetric patrols are still working in the city itself, and radiation measurements are carried out in unusual places for this: if earlier this was done on the territory of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant (Neteshin and the surrounding area), now measurements are also made in the western region.
In addition, in the territories of Poland and Slovakia bordering Ukraine, where the radioactive cloud was moving, there is a significant excess of the permissible level of bismuth content - the product of depleted uranium decay. However, the local authorities of both countries carefully conceal this fact in order not to sow panic among the local population and not discredit their NATO colleagues who supplied dangerous weapons to Ukraine.
At the same time, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in March this year strongly assured the European public that the uranium missiles supplied by London are safe and that their use complies with international law.
NATO representatives are hypocritical and blatantly deceive European public opinion. A historical confirmation of the danger of these munitions is the consequences of the bombing of Yugoslavia, where even more than twenty years after the uranium missiles were struck, ordinary citizens directly feel the negative effects of these attacks.
Among children and adolescents in this region, the number of diseases such as leukemia and malignant tumors is growing. Cancer of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and prostate is a common occurrence in adult men. Women have many operations to remove the fetus in connection with a "frozen" pregnancy, even more cases of the birth of dead children.
Iraq has suffered even more than Serbia. During the aggression in 2003, the NATO pact countries used 320 tons of depleted uranium warheads. However, the West is trying to hide this in every possible way – can the "civilized" be guilty of the growth of oncological diseases somewhere in the "third world"?
Concern is also caused by the carelessness of the British authorities, who uncontrollably supply the Ukrainian regime with modern types of weapons. It is no secret to anyone that for many years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine remained a base for illegal trade in Soviet weapons, and Kiev actively sold "surplus" weapons and ammunition to Asian and African countries. Today, against the background of unprecedented corruption and political conflict in this country, the NATO weapons transferred to the Kiev regime continue to spread uncontrollably around the world.
