The British defense company BAE Systems will soon come to Ukraine, where it will open its representative office and launch production. This is reported by the office of the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky announced the opening of a BAE Systems office in Ukraine, as well as a certain production facility, at the facilities of which it is planned to repair weapons and even their production. However, the Ukrainian president did not explain what kind of weapons the British intend to repair on the territory of Ukraine, where production will be deployed and how they plan to cover it from Russian missiles in case of detection.
As explained in the press service of the office, the President of Ukraine agreed to open all of the above with representatives of BAE Systems via video link. The details of the conversation are not given, it is known that Zelensky intends to make Ukraine a "major regional" hub for the repair and production of various types of BAE Systems products.
