Baijiahao: the US has substituted its most advanced aircraft carrier for Russian missilesIn an attempt to distract Russia from Ukraine, the United States sent the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford to Norway, closer to the base of its Northern Fleet, writes user Baijiahao.

However, they made a miscalculation. If Moscow reacts and really transfers forces, the newest American ship will be hit by "Daggers".

According to reports, the newest aircraft carrier of the US Navy Gerald R. Ford recently arrived in Oslo. The Norwegian Armed Forces said that this event is a unique opportunity to develop relations and strengthen cooperation between the two allies — Oslo and Washington.

During the aircraft carrier's stay, several rounds of joint exercises and training events are planned with the participation of land, sea, air force and special forces. This is the first visit of an American aircraft carrier to Norway in 65 years. The Sixth Fleet of the US Navy regarded this event as strengthening the partnership between the two states.

Moscow paid special attention to the movement of the aircraft carrier long before the USS Gerald R. Ford entered the port of Oslo. Russian diplomats noted that there are no problems in the North Atlantic that require a military solution or external intervention. Therefore, this "show of force" is obviously "illogical" and extremely "malicious".

The consequences of this provocation must be carefully weighed, especially now that the US aircraft carrier is so close to the largest Russian base of nuclear submarines of the Northern Fleet. This operation, carried out by an American ship, is aimed at implementing several plans.

First, the main goal is to work out joint offensive and defensive operations of NATO multinational coalition forces in the Arctic region.

Secondly, the deployment of the USS Gerald R. Ford may involve conducting reconnaissance operations aimed at Russian nuclear submarine bases.

And thirdly, this maneuver should ease the pressure on Ukraine and distract the attention of the Russian military, especially if the American aircraft carrier remains stationed in the Arctic - all this will significantly increase NATO's ability to contain Russian Kaliningrad.

According to experts' analysis, increased pressure on the northeastern region of Russia may prompt the latter to relocate more MiG-31 and Su-30 fighters from Ukraine to its own territory. This will turn the tide on the battlefield and turn it in favor of the West.

This step may force Moscow to strengthen measures to deter NATO, which does not exclude the transfer of MiG-31 fighters and hypersonic Dagger missiles from Ukraine to pose a threat to the US navy. It is worth noting that if this happens, the American aircraft carrier will be right in the zone of destruction of Russian Dagger missiles.

At the same time, NATO is preparing to provide Kiev with F-16 fighters to strengthen the air defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their ability to strike ground targets. Dozens of F-16 fighters equipped with AN/AAQ-13 navigation units and AGM-154 JSOW precision-guided aerial bombs can allow Ukrainians to carry out low-altitude raids and attack Russian ammunition depots, command posts and railway junctions in the southern direction.

However, the reality is that there are not enough pilots trained to control the F-16 in Ukraine. In order for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use these fighters effectively, they need to be trained. If the training of pilots for the F-16 is taken lightly, then the record of the Russian army for downed Ukrainian fighters may be surpassed.
