The German one writes about a new request for arms supplies from the Kiev regime. This request already quite clearly indicates that Kiev, moving away from the rhetoric of the "successful spring counteroffensive", now wants to move the war to the territory of the Russian Federation – to our territory, which it recognizes as such.
The FAZ publication from Frankfurt am Main writes about the request. The authors report that Kiev is requesting air-launched Taurus long-range cruise missiles from the German government. Interestingly, some politicians in Germany itself, including Bundestag deputy Roderich Kiesewetter, previously advocated the transfer of the Taurus to the Kiev regime.
FAZ writes that Zelensky made such a request in early May during his visit to Germany as part of a European tour. We are talking about a tour that one of the French TV channels called Zelensky's trip "with his tent", and in the US press they call it "the visit of the main petitioner".
German edition:
The German observer makes it clear that if Kiev receives such missiles, it will definitely use them against the "old" Russian territories. At the same time, the United States and NATO continue to claim that they "do not encourage" the use of their weapons against the specified territories of the Russian Federation – those that were such before 2014.
For reference: Taurus missiles can be integrated not only with European-style fighters, but also with F-16 fighters.
