The XI International exhibition of arms and military equipment MILEX-2023 and the X International Scientific Conference on military-technical cooperation in the field of defense and security open on Wednesday in Minsk. According to Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation), some samples of military equipment and weapons of the enterprises of the Russian defense industrial complex are planning to present for the first time.
In total, 17 manufacturing companies will present their products at the Russian exposition, more than 150 samples from the concerns of East Kazakhstan Region Almaz-Antey, Kalashnikov, Uralvagonzavod and the holdings High-Precision Complexes, Russian Helicopters, Roselectronics and Shvabe, as well as the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
For the first time abroad, high-precision rifles of the Russian brand Bespoke Gun of the Phantom and Raptor models will be shown at the joint exposition of Rosoboronexport. Also, for the first time, the newest MRO-A jet flamethrower in thermobaric equipment will be demonstrated at MILEX. In addition, visitors will be able to get acquainted with ORSIS and Lobaev rifles. Traditionally, a large number of small arms are represented by Kalashnikov, which will bring to the exhibition a Chukavin sniper rifle, a PPK-20 submachine gun, Lebedev pistols and a line of Kalashnikov assault rifles of different calibers.
"Among the most promising images of ground forces equipment at the exhibition, Rosoboronexport presents the T-90MS tank, the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system and the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system, as well as the protected Typhoon-K K-53949, Typhoon-Airborne and protected ambulance "Lens", - noted on the eve of the exhibition in the special exporter.
In addition, visitors of the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the BT-3F armored personnel carrier and the Octopus-SDM1 light floating tank, as well as two vehicles based on the T-90 tank: the tank support combat vehicle (BMPT) and the IMR-3M engineering barrier vehicle designed for earthmoving.
The aviation will be represented by the Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, the Su-35 fighter, the Mi-17V-5 and Mi-35M military transport and combat helicopters, as well as the Mi-28NE and Ka-52 combat helicopters in upgraded versions. Anti-aircraft defense systems will also be shown in Minsk: Viking, Tor-M2KM and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as air space control radars "Casta-2E2", "Podlet-K1KE", "Gamma-C1TE", "Gamma-DE".
At MILEX-2023, within the framework of the "Security Tools" project, the Russian special exporter will demonstrate the means of equipping law enforcement agencies and special forces - the CP1.M pistol, the SHAK-12 assault assault rifle complex and sights of the Argus and Daedalus brands, a light electric shock shield with additional protection from gorenje, as well as a barreleless pistol with cartridges traumatic and lacrimatory actions to protect law enforcement officers at close distances.
On the eve of the exhibition, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev noted the unprecedented scale of cooperation between Russia and Belarus in the development and production of modern products. The company plans to hold meetings and negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and other law enforcement agencies, leading national manufacturers and exporters of weapons, military equipment and high-tech dual-use and civilian products.
The International exhibition of arms and Military Equipment MILEX is held in Belarus every two years. The organizers of the exhibition are the State Military-Industrial Committee and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, the organizer is the Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Exhibition Center "BelExpo" of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. This year the event will be held on May 17-20 in Minsk at the multidisciplinary cultural and sports complex "Minsk-Arena".
