Another modification based on the Soviet multipurpose lightly armored army tractor MT-LB got into the frame. In the video, you can see that a pair of large-caliber DSHK machine guns are installed on the MT-LB. This machine, once produced in an amount of more than 55 thousand units, has been repeatedly subjected to various modifications during its use in many countries of the world.

The huge number of available armored tractors of this type helps to quickly saturate the army with armored personnel carriers. Often the MT-LB armament is represented by only one machine gun, which is not enough in conditions of intense hostilities. In order for these vehicles to be able to provide infantry fire support, new modifications based on the combat MT-LB appear.
Along with factory versions of upgrades, for example, such as MT-LBM 6MB, many "artisanal" modifications are also often made. This is facilitated by the presence of a platform on the roof of the MT-LB, where it is possible to install various types of weapons.
Machine-gun turrets and artillery pieces are massively installed on the MT-LB chassis, as well as protective armor is welded. As a result, quite combat-ready samples of military equipment are obtained, which are successfully used as armored personnel carriers and infantry support vehicles.
The basic modification of the MT-LB was used by the Soviet army during the war in Afghanistan, and after the collapse of the USSR was used during almost all the numerous armed conflicts in the post-Soviet space.
