The US Department of Energy is the main organizer and customer of work on military biology in different regions of the world, said the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.
The Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center (UNTC) acted as an intermediary between the US Ministry of Energy and Ukrainian research organizations, he added.
According to him, the director of the office in Kiev, the attache for Energy of the American Embassy, Sean Anderson, deals with the organization of the research activities of this ministry in Ukraine.
The materials released by the general at the briefing also include other employees of the US Department of Energy. These are Andrew Vogt, Heather Bell and Valerie Brusilovsky (all former energy attache of the US Embassy in Ukraine), as well as Stefan Binkley and Richard Weller.
