This is the production of the most modern types of weapons, equipment, technologies," Mikhail Mishustin said.
The head of Rostec stressed that the State Corporation is always aimed at unconditional fulfillment of the state defense order. In order to increase the pace and volume of production of the products needed by the army, the teams of many Rostec enterprises switched to a three- to four-shift mode of operation.
"If we talk in general about the volume of the state defense order, then we produce half of it. And if we talk about the products that participate in the SVO today, it will be almost 80%. This includes combat aircraft, helicopters, all artillery, armored vehicles, ammunition, drones, heavy flamethrower systems, small arms. A huge amount of the equipment that the army needs today, we produce all of it," Sergey Chemezov said.
The head of Rostec said that in 2022 there was an active recruitment of specialists both to enterprises involved in the implementation of the state defense order and to factories implementing large-scale civil projects, primarily in the field of aircraft construction, digitalization and the radio-electronic complex. In total, the Corporation's holdings have hired more than 30 thousand employees.
"A competitive social package has been introduced to attract new employees. It includes medical insurance and financial assistance, housing program. By the way, as for the housing program, the employee who took out a mortgage loan, he only needs to pay off the loan body, our company subsidizes the mortgage interest rate," said Sergey Chemezov.
According to the CEO of Rostec, the departure of foreign partners, the disruption of logistics chains, difficulties with international settlements in early 2022 jeopardized a number of important production programs, primarily in the field of aircraft, automotive, electronics. Nevertheless, the right management decisions made it possible to avoid negative consequences.
For example, KAMAZ has resumed production of new generation K5 trucks and promptly imported components for electric buses, which form the basis of the Moscow fleet of eco-friendly mode of transport. This eliminated potential maintenance problems and the lack of spare parts and consumables.
Rostec United Engine Corporation has implemented projects that are important for the country's energy complex: it has produced Russia's first serial high-power gas turbine GTD-110M, which will be operated at the new Udarnaya thermal power plant in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the first domestic power unit for Gazprom's GTA-8 drilling platforms.
The project of the import-substituted Superjet New airliner has reached the finish line, for which Russian PD-8 engines and about 40 domestic systems and components are being developed instead of foreign ones. The project is planned to reach serial capacity with the production of up to 20 aircraft per year from 2024. In addition, the United Aircraft Corporation has lifted into the sky another MC-21-310 prototype airliner with domestic PD-14 engines.
