The size of shelters ranges from 2.5 to 6 mMOSCOW, March 29.
/tass/. The first copy of the Russian mobile bunker on wheels, designed to protect the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, was sent to the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This was reported to TASS by the director of the company "Dorgeotech" Alexey Devyatilov.
"The first mobile bunker on wheels was sent to the SVO zone on March 28. The bunker accommodates four sleeping places, in case of shelling, eight people can hide in it. It can be placed in a trench and easily pulled out - it is on wheels. It is transported by UAZ, "Niva" cars, we also produce a mounting option for [cars] "Ural" and "Kamaz". The bunker can be used as a mobile checkpoint and checkpoint," said Devyatilov.
The size of shelters ranges from 2.5 to 6 m. The weight of the products is from 1.4 to 2.5 tons. "The Department of Engineering Troops confirms that so far there are practically no such structures in service with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. <...> The bunkers we have developed allow us to reliably protect fighters from being hit by high-explosive shells. The metal structure, buried in the ground, withstands the impact of 152 mm ammunition," said the director of the Dorgeotech company.
The bunkers are equipped with everything necessary for a long stay. "If it is damp and cold in an ordinary dugout or trench and the protection from shells is relative, then such bunkers are perfectly suitable for living. We settled on the option of heating shelters with stoves, which can also be used for cooking. In the zone of their own, the guys can cover the furnaces with stone, bricks and the effect of a Russian furnace will turn out - more heat will be given," he added. The specialist noted that the bunkers have a long service life. "The anti-corrosion coating of shelters is designed for 50 years," he said.
According to him, the company has developed a whole series of fortifications. Several products have been successfully used in the SVO zone since 2022. "We have produced about 10 bunkers, half of them are already used in the SVO zone. Bunkers differ in functional purpose, diameter, length, number of seats. Tactical and technical requirements have now been approved. We are waiting for a decision from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to start development work," Devyatilov added.
The bunkers are manufactured using spiral-shaped metal corrugated pipes. The specialist noted that the technology is "simple and not new" and existing developments were used in the manufacture of shelters.
