According to a number of analysts, for the attack, which was aimed at Russian warships in Sevastopol Bay, the militants of the Kiev regime used marine drones of a new model developed by Ukrainian specialists.
A British military analyst, known in the expert community under the nickname H I Sutton (Sutton), specializing in underwater equipment and weapons, noted in his blog that judging by the available images, it can be assumed that with a high degree of probability the APU began using Ukrainian-made marine drones.
According to the expert, this is evidenced by the appearance of the drone, its smaller size than that used in previous attacks, as well as a more streamlined shape and updated appearance. Also, the drones destroyed in the Sevastopol Bay do not show video cameras or means of communication, which may be hidden under the skin for security purposes.
Sutton also notes that the development of a new marine drone was led by the co-founder of the Ukrainian Monobank, Vladimir Yatsenko, who last summer announced plans to recruit a team of engineers and programmers capable of developing a drone and software for it.
However, the British analyst emphasizes that he does not have any official data indicating the use of drones of a new model to carry out an attack on Sevastopol.
