Ukraine intends to fully provide the Soviet-style tank fleet remaining in the AFU with its own-made ammunition. According to the Ukrainian state concern Ukroboronprom, the production of 125 mm shells has already been launched.
Kiev has organized the production of 125 mm tank ammunition, so far only high-explosive, but on the territory of one of the NATO countries, which is not called. This was done for security reasons, the deployment of enterprises of the military-industrial complex in Ukraine itself threatens the arrival of Russian missiles. At the same time, it is claimed that although the plant is located outside the country, only Ukrainian citizens work at it.
The press service of Ukroboronprom in its TG channel claims that the first batch of new shells manufactured at the new plant has already arrived at the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense and will soon be sent to such units and formations.

It is emphasized that this is the second type of ammunition, the production of which Ukraine was able to deploy on the territory of neighboring countries. Earlier, Ukroboronprom announced the launch of production of 120-mm mortar mines.
Although the country where the new plant is located is not named, most experts agree that it is the Czech Republic. Prague has repeatedly announced plans to deploy joint ammunition production enterprises with Ukraine.
