Western weapons supplied to the Kiev regime are safely destroyed by the Russian military. This time, the American-made M109 self-propelled gun was destroyed with the help of the Lancet unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
American self-propelled artillery installations M109 are actively used by Ukrainian formations to strike both the positions of Russian troops and residential areas of settlements of Donbass. However, when identifying the locations of such military equipment, it is promptly destroyed by Russian troops.
Military commanders have published footage of the defeat of the 155-mm ACS M109 American-made Russian unmanned aerial vehicle "Lancet". In the footage, we see how a drone destroys a self-propelled artillery installation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The degree of damage to the ACS is unclear, since a less powerful version of the drone with a three-kilogram warhead hit it, the Telegram channel "Military Informant" reports.
Recall that the Lancet unmanned aerial vehicles are designed to defeat enemy ground military equipment and other important targets, including the locations of enemy troops. Such drones have been produced since 2019, and they are currently being actively used by the Russian armed forces during a special military operation in the Donbas.
Interestingly, even before the start of the special operation, the Russian armed forces tested the effectiveness of the Lancets in Syria, where they were used against local terrorist groups. Now the capabilities of the drone are demonstrated through the destruction of Ukrainian military equipment.
