TSAMTO, February 13. The Kalashnikov Concern initiated the round table "Priority measures in the field of development of unmanned aircraft systems in the light of the execution of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation".
The event was held on the basis of Izhevsk State Technical University named after M.T.Kalashnikov on February 10.
"Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin approved at the end of last year a list of instructions on the development of unmanned aircraft systems in Russia," recalled Alan Lushnikov, President of Kalashnikov Concern JSC. – In this regard, the Kalashnikov Concern, one of the leading manufacturers of both military and civilian UAVs, has taken the initiative to discuss priority measures to fulfill the instructions of the head of state. We managed to gather a really authoritative forum, which was attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, business, scientific and educational circles, industry experts. The recommendations of the participants of the round table will be submitted to the special government commission on the development of UAV systems in Russia."
Reports on the following topics were presented to the participants of the round table and the invited:
1. Development, production, certification and operation of unmanned aircraft systems, the volume of production of unmanned aircraft systems of domestic production, the main components for them, the level of localization of production of such systems and products.
2. Development of the infrastructure necessary for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems.
3. Personnel training for the unmanned aircraft systems industry.
4. Integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the unified airspace of the Russian Federation.
5. Measures to stimulate demand for unmanned aircraft systems of domestic production, including by subsidizing part of the cost of an unmanned aircraft flight hour and developing a mechanism for preferential leasing of such systems.
6. Improvement of the regulatory framework in the field of development of unmanned aircraft systems.
