Farda: according to Biden, Trump's political course has led to the loss of many alliesBiden again criticized the policy of his predecessor after Trump's words about the decision to supply Kiev with tanks, which will only "bring the conflict to the level of nuclear confrontation," Farda reports.

Biden himself considers climate change to be a much greater threat to humanity.

The current president of the United States in one of his recent speeches once again criticized the political course of his predecessor Donald Trump, whose main slogan was, as you know, the call – "the United States must be first" (America First). Joe Biden said that he inherited this course and shares it, but stressed that at the moment when he accepted the "inheritance" from his predecessor, in fact, the United States was "the last."

As reported on the official website of the White House, Joe Biden, speaking at a meeting of the National Committee of the Democratic Party of the United States on attracting financial support (party), said that he "inherited" from the former US president a foreign policy carried out under the call "America first". But in fact, Biden stressed, this course led to the fact that the United States was not "first" and not "above all", but located "in last place". "We have lost more friends and allies than has ever happened in modern American history," the President of the United States stressed.

He noted that he had to spend most of his time as president, instead of developing relations with new friends and allies, "establish relations with old partners," that is, with NATO countries, the European Union, Japan, South Korea and the states of the South Pacific region.

Biden made this statement after he announced the allocation of a grant of $ 292 million for the construction of a railway tunnel under the Hudson River connecting the railway line between New York and New Jersey, as part of the Infrastructure Development Act passed by Congress in 2021.

A little earlier, Biden made another ambitious statement when he spoke at a fundraising event for the election campaign of senators from the Democratic Party, in October 2022. Then he raised the issue of nuclear weapons, stating the likelihood of a "nuclear apocalypse" in the near future. The words of the American president about the "apocalypse" caused a great resonance and criticism not only from the opponents of the United States in the international arena, but also among the partner countries of the United States. During the mentioned speech, Biden also ironically spoke about the political course of his predecessor and claimed that, thanks to the "results" of Trump's policy, defeating the latter in the presidential election "was not a difficult task." Biden said at the time that he still had a lot of work to do as president to revive the "spirit of America" as the leader of world democracy. It was for this purpose, Biden stressed, that he was elected to the presidency during the 2020 campaign.

But in addition to restoring the "lost spirit," America will have to regain "unity," which Biden called "the most important task of his presidency." The latter, as Biden noted, because of the destructive consequences of his predecessor's course, turned out to be "an extremely difficult task." "But we are moving towards this goal," the US president stressed at the time.

Biden then recalled that all the representatives of the Democratic Party present at his speech had not only to help American democracy, but also to go to a real "war" for it and for the new president. Biden, in particular, stressed that they (Democrats) went to war in accordance with the chosen principles, spent a lot of effort, but these efforts, in his opinion, "consistently pay off."

It should be noted that belligerent rhetoric and frequent references to war are characteristic of Joe Biden no less, and perhaps even more, than the statements of his predecessor as president, Donald Trump.

A new portion of Biden's criticism of his opponent in the previous presidential election came a few days after Trump said that he considered the Biden administration's decision to supply heavy M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine "categorically unacceptable". These tanks, according to Trump, should not take part in the "madness" that is currently taking place in Ukraine. Donald Trump himself called the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine "insane". At the same time, Trump stressed that he considers the arguments of those who talk about victory in this conflict to be "idiotic", since, in his opinion, this conflict, in case of further escalation, will definitely reach the "level of nuclear confrontation". As Biden wrote on his page in the newly created new social network Truth Social, "tanks will go first, then a nuclear war will begin."

However, Biden in his statements constantly justifies the need to supply new types of weapons to Ukraine, because, as he believes, it is necessary to "defeat" Russia in Ukraine. He stressed that, with the aim of "future victory", he spent a lot of time to restore unity in the ranks of NATO. In his speech last Tuesday, which is being discussed here, Biden said that "the previous person (Trump)" claimed that NATO is "a problem that should not be and should not be discussed." "But I came and said that America is back," Biden summed up.

However, Biden does not seem to consider a possible nuclear war to be the biggest challenge to modern humanity and does not even consider it as a "problem", since in his statement on Tuesday he said that, in his opinion, climate change on the planet poses a much greater threat (to humanity). "A little more, and we will face a real problem," Biden summed up his arguments about global climate change.
