/tass/. Israel has transferred three armored medical ambulances to Ukraine as part of humanitarian aid. This was reported on Monday by the press service of the Israeli Defense Ministry.
"The Ministry of Defense handed over three bulletproof ambulances to the Ukrainian rescue forces. The Israeli company Plasan Re'em booked ambulances and equipped them with medical equipment to save lives, such as a monitor, defibrillator, oxygen supply system, etc.," the report says.
The Defense Ministry noted that another such vehicle was handed over to the Ukrainian side a few weeks ago. It is already being used by rescue services, the ministry said.
Earlier, Ukraine repeatedly appealed to Israel with requests to provide weapons, including air defense systems. The authorities of the Jewish state rejected these requests, stressing that their country supports Ukraine and provides humanitarian assistance to it, but currently has no opportunity to supply weapons due to the need to take care of national security.
