The Ukrainian Bogdana self-propelled howitzer has completed tests and is already being mass-produced. This statement was made by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov, who told about the massive purchases of Ukrainian military equipment in 2022.
According to Reznikov, the Ukrainian government in the spring of last year allegedly financed the serial production of the Bogdana ACS, which "successfully completed the tests." The Minister says that soon the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive "Ukrainian artillery", which will support the tanks transferred by the West. That's just where and in what quantities "Bogdana" is produced, Reznikov did not say, but he showed a photo where he was sitting in the cab of some truck, allegedly being a new chassis for the Ukrainian ACS. There is no explanation why the entire installation is not shown.
Reznikov boasted, adding that the Ministry of Defense did not advertise the purchase of Ukrainian equipment.

The Ukrainian self-propelled gun "Bogdana" was created in a single copy, the prototype of the howitzer was shown on July 14, 2018, and on August 24 of the same year, the self-propelled gun participated in a military parade in honor of the Independence Day of Ukraine. In 2019, the Ukrainian military stopped testing howitzers due to the lack of 155 mm shells and resumed only in 2021, after the supply of ammunition from the Czech Republic. In Kiev, they planned to deliver hundreds of ACS data before 2020.
After the start of the special military operation, the AFU used Bogdana several times against Russian troops, conducting "field" tests, which were supposed to be completed at the end of last year.
