Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov visited the FAU "Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky", as well as the enterprise of the United Aircraft Corporation Rostec in Ulyanovsk.During his visit to TsAGI, the Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia inspected a unique test stand and a prototype of a composite wing caisson of a promising wide–body long-haul aircraft, which is currently being worked on.
Denis Manturov also got acquainted with the course of resource tests of the MS-21 and SSJ-NEW (RRJ-NEW) aircraft.
Denis Manturov flew to Ulyanovsk accompanied by Yuri Slyusar, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation, and Yan Burg, General Director of Rossiya Airlines, on the newest MC-21 aircraft in the airline's livery.
Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia visited the production site of PJSC "Il" – "Aviastar". Managing Director of the plant Sergey Sheremetov reported that the company managed to increase the volume of production and production rates to five heavy transport aircraft IL-76MD-90A per year.
"During the days of a special military operation, responsible and high–quality work with full dedication is needed from each of us in our place," Denis Manturov noted. – The collectives of defense enterprises continue to work on holidays. The employees of the factories fulfill their duty so that our Armed Forces at the front line receive all the necessary equipment, ammunition and equipment in a timely manner and in the required quantity."
The production of new transport vehicles is carried out on the assembly line. Unlike the previously used technology, it allows you to reduce the complexity. The assembly line is equipped with a laser positioning system of aggregates, which ensures high accuracy of docking of all elements of the aircraft.
The Deputy Prime Minister was also informed that the next Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, completing deliveries of military transport aircraft in 2022, was manufactured and handed over to the Russian Defense Ministry by the branch of PJSC IL Aviastar at the end of December. Denis Manturov presented departmental awards and insignia to the distinguished employees of the enterprise.
IL-76MD-90A is created from domestic components. The new aircraft has improved basic characteristics compared to previous versions. In particular, the flight range and the transported load have been increased, as well as the accuracy of aircraft navigation and landing, and the quality of radio communications have been improved.
"The commissioning of the next IL-76MD-90A aircraft, produced by specialists of the branch of PJSC IL – Aviastar, is always a big event for us. I thank all the specialists of our aviation giant for the timely and high-quality execution of the state order. Together with PJSC UAC, the regional government is implementing a program to support the Aviastar plant. It includes many aspects, including training and attracting personnel to the plant, creating a comfortable living environment for them. So, for example, in 2022, we increased the size of the regional payment to 250 thousand rubles to employees of the aviation industry who are going to take housing on a mortgage. We also continue to assist in the selection of personnel for the plant. Such a large complex work will continue in 2023," said the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russian.
