The Kozelsky missile compound loaded an intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" into a mine launcher, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
The ministry clarified that the rocket is installed in the mine launcher with the help of a special transport and loading unit. Technological operations last several hours.
"The importance of this operation lies in the fact that the next missile will be on combat duty on schedule. The motherland will receive another sample of nuclear missile weapons, which will allow solving any tasks at the strategic level," said Alexey Sokolov, commander of the Kozelsky missile compound.
In addition, according to the commander, infrastructure is being built in the division in a planned manner to ensure the use of missiles and measures are being taken to improve the living conditions and everyday life of rocket men.
