On December 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that achieving the results of its can be a long process. On the same day, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed three HIMARS and MLRS MLRS launchers in Krivoy Rog and the DPR, four more received "critical damage". And several attacks in the Red-Liman direction allowed the Russian troops to occupy advantageous frontiers.
New territories and people
Vladimir Putin, discussing the timing of a special military operation at a meeting with members of the Human Rights Council on December 7, said that it could take a long time. At the same time, according to him, a significant result of its for Russia is the accession of new territories to the country.
— As for the long process of ITS results, then, of course, it can be a long process. <...> New territories have appeared. Well, this is such a significant result for Russia," the head of state noted.
He added that the Sea of Azov has become an inland sea of Russia. But the most important thing, according to him, is the people who live in the new territories.

Vladimir Putin also said that there is no need for additional mobilization.
— Talking about some additional mobilization measures simply does not make sense, there is no need for the state and for the Ministry of Defense in this today, - said the President of Russia.
He clarified that only 77 thousand of the 300 thousand mobilized are now directly in combat units.
In military terms, the winter campaign will solve a lot, military expert Alexey Leonkov believes.
— Based on its results, it will be possible to judge the continuation of its. But sooner or later the military component will end. Together with it, the problem of demilitarization will be solved, — the interlocutor of the editorial office is sure. — The most difficult issue will be denazification. It is impossible to forgive outright criminals and sadists, as they did in 1955 in the USSR. Joining the four regions showed that this is the only correct solution. Russia will move along the path: liberating, annexing, reviving. And, of course, it takes time. The economic revival of the regions is also a long process.
Hunting for HIMARS and MLRS
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that as a result of a strike on a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons in one of the workshops of the ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog, more than 70 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher missiles, two MLRS MLRS launchers were destroyed. Four more installations of this type received critical damage. The strike was carried out by high-precision ground-based weapons.

— As a result of the strike on the AFU equipment recovery point near the settlement of Malotaranovka of the Donetsk People's Republic, a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system combat vehicle and 48 rockets to it were destroyed, — said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
Now HIMARS and MLRS MLRS are the main high—precision long-range weapons of the Ukrainian forces, Vladislav Shurygin told Izvestia.

The huge intelligence capabilities of the United States and European countries allow us to find and accurately determine the coordinates of our important objects. We are hunting for these MLRS, but they are managed by skillful calculations, Ukrainian intelligence and counterintelligence work for them. The Ukrainian side protects this car. For these reasons, the destruction of each of them is a great achievement.

Also, the Ministry of Defense told about the situation in the area of the SVO. On December 7, in the Krasno-Limansky direction, Russian units occupied advantageous frontiers and new positions. Artillery fire, assault and army aviation strikes destroyed more than 130 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles and a car during the day.
The enemy's attempts to attack the positions of Russian troops were stopped in the Kupyansk direction. Up to 70 militants, BMP, MT-LB, two self-propelled artillery 2S-1 "Carnation" and three cars were destroyed.
In the Donetsk direction, all attempts to counterattack the VFU have been thwarted. During the day, more than 40 people, three armored combat vehicles and a pickup truck were destroyed here.
At Yuzhno-Donetsk, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position. The units of the VFU were thrown back to their original positions. Enemy losses amounted to up to 100 killed and wounded, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier and four vehicles.
Operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 79 artillery units in firing positions, a temporary deployment point of a foreign mercenary unit, two US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations, a radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, a VFU missile and artillery weapons depot and 183 troop concentration areas.

Air defense systems in the special operation zone shot down four drones, four multiple rocket launchers HIMARS, "Alder" and "Hurricane" in the areas of the settlements of Olkhovatka, Kharkiv region, Pervomaisk, Frunze in the LPR and Volnovakha in the DPR during the day.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 341 aircraft, 180 helicopters, 2,638 unmanned aerial vehicles, 392 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7,020 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 913 multiple rocket launchers, 3,664 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 7,498 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles.
The artillery battery of Ensign Mikhail Ungureanu supported the offensive of Russian units with fire. When the battery began to change its firing position, Ukrainian nationalists fired at the moving column. Mikhail quickly got his bearings in the situation and prepared to conduct a counter-battery fight. He destroyed a foreign-made enemy mortar. In addition, the ensign took out wounded colleagues from under enemy fire and provided them with first aid, which saved their lives, the military department said.
The platoon of Senior Ensign Arsen Biyarslanov as part of the rocket artillery division defended the designated line. When the enemy launched a counterattack, Biyarslanov destroyed two armored personnel carriers and more than ten nationalists. Also during the battle, Arsen took a colleague to a safe area and gave him first aid, and then organized his evacuation to a medical detachment.
During the reconnaissance, Senior Sergeant Dmitry Prytkov found two maneuverable mortar crews, as well as an armed group of Ukrainian nationalists. It was decided to impose a fight on the enemy. Having correctly positioned themselves in positions, the servicemen suddenly opened heavy fire on the militants. During the battle, Dmitry destroyed the enemy's mortar crew.
During the enemy's counterattack, Prytkov was wounded, but continued to fight the nationalists. As a result of the battle, more than seven militants were killed, the survivors retreated into the depths of defense, the military department said.
