Several bases of "soldiers of fortune" and their military equipment were hit in the DPR and Kharkiv region. Experts noted that the cooling that has come makes the troops more vulnerable to high-precision strikes due to the need to place them more compactly. Also on Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with soldiers' mothers, promised to resolve important issues related to equipment, medical care, as well as rehabilitation and employment of servicemen after severe injuries.
Calls to the front line
On November 25, Vladimir Putin met with mothers of servicemen who are either directly in the zone of the special operation, or are undergoing tactical training and combat coordination. At the meeting, issues related to medical care, rehabilitation and material support of servicemen in the SVO zone were touched upon.
"The Minister [Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu] tells me that military hospitals are only 38% full, but the healthcare system itself is ready to work with our guys," Vladimir Putin said.

The President believes that a separate rehabilitation program with additional training and employment is needed. He stressed that civilian hospitals are ready to accept Russian servicemen for rehabilitation.
Vladimir Putin promised that the military personnel who were injured during the SVO will be involved in work in military enlistment offices. The Ministry of Defense is trying to establish work on the uniforms of military personnel in the zone of its own "as efficiently as possible, taking into account the time of year," the head of state also said.
Minus 300 mercenaries
On November 25, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had hit several bases of foreign mercenaries operating in the SVO zone.
— As a result of strikes with high—precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces on three points of temporary deployment of Polish mercenaries in the area of the settlement of Velikiye Khutora, Kharkiv region, up to 200 militants were destroyed, - said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
He also said that more than 100 foreign legion mercenaries, one tank, two armored combat vehicles and eight cars were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Seversk and Slavyansk in the DPR.

In these conditions, the advantage will be the side that will have a more effective intelligence and a common technological level. But the winter period does not contribute to offensive operations. Of course, Donbass is not Siberia, but there is another problem here — the period when the earth freezes enough to use equipment is short-lived.
The opponents will stabilize the front, limiting themselves to tactical offensive actions, he is sure. At the same time, the process of training troops and saturating them with new equipment will take place, already taking into account the lessons of the 2022 campaign. And it is very important to learn them better than the opponent, the expert believes.
The enemy is repulsed
In the Kupyansk direction, the VFU launched two unsuccessful attacks. The enemy was stopped and thrown back to their original positions. Up to 30 militants, three infantry fighting vehicles and four armored vehicles were destroyed.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, a company tactical group of the VFU, concentrated for an offensive in the area of the settlement of Stelmakhovka in the LPR, was hit by fire. In addition, the enemy's attack in the direction of the settlement of Chervonopopovka was thwarted. The losses of Ukrainian formations in this direction during the day amounted to up to 70 servicemen killed and wounded, one tank, four armored combat vehicles and two pickups.
The counterattack of the company tactical group of the VFU was reflected in the Donetsk direction. Up to 60 servicemen, two tanks and three infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed.

In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy attempted to counterattack the positions of Russian units in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Novodonetsky, and Novodarovka of the Zaporozhye region. The Ukrainian formations were dispersed and pushed back to their original positions. More than 50 servicemen, two armored vehicles and two pickups were destroyed.
Operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit six enemy control points, a warehouse of missile and artillery weapons of the VFU, a radar station of counter-battery warfare manufactured by the United States AN/TPQ-50, 67 artillery units in firing positions and 164 areas of concentration of troops.
Air defense systems shot down four drones during the day, as well as five rockets of the HIMARS and Alder multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the settlements of Kremennaya and Popasnaya in the LPR.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 333 aircraft, 177 helicopters, 2,562 unmanned aerial vehicles, 390 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6,813 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 902 multiple rocket launchers, 3,620 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 7,352 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, listed by Igor Konashenkov.

The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication during their military service.

During the battle with superior enemy forces, a group of Russian intelligence officers was surrounded. The squad commander Nikita Raznatovsky decided to come to the rescue and break through the ring. Despite heavy enemy fire, his fighters attacked the militants, pulling together the main forces. This was taken advantage of by scouts who independently left the encirclement.
— Thanks to Nikita's competent and verified actions, the unit that was surrounded broke through, and his squad withdrew without losses, — the Defense Ministry said.
German Burtsev's squad was on the defensive at the factory when the Ukrainian forces launched a counterattack. In the battle, he received a severe leg wound, but continued to command the squad.
The enemy units suffered heavy losses and retreated, and the squad under the command of German Burtsev began to pursue them. Thanks to the bold and decisive actions of German Burtsev, it was possible to quickly and without losses oust the enemy from the settlement and take advantageous positions to continue the attack, the Defense Ministry reported.
