The rare Israeli-made Amir armored car was in service with the AFU for a relatively short time. As soon as he lit up the other day on the line of combat contact, information about his destruction by the Lancet kamikaze drone appeared almost immediately on the Network. This military vehicle is manufactured by a small company GAIA Automotive Industries and is designed to perform a variety of combat missions. For example, with its help it is possible to conduct reconnaissance, patrol, use as an armored personnel carrier is provided. The chassis is two-axle, all-wheel drive.
The capacity is twelve military personnel. It is also possible to transport up to three tons of cargo. Four side doors and a stern hatch are used for boarding and disembarking of the crew and troops. In the doors on each side there are loopholes designed for the use of small arms.

A single, open-top combat module with machine-gun armament is installed on the roof. The armor corresponds to STANAG 4569 level 4, that is, it can withstand the impact of B-32 bullets of 14.5 mm caliber cartridges fired from a distance of 200 meters, as well as fragments of 155 mm shells.
Mine protection is designed for land mines and mines with a capacity of up to 10 kg in TNT equivalent.
It is assumed that the car was purchased through third parties by civilian volunteers. The Israeli authorities have repeatedly stated that they will not supply weapons to Ukraine.
