The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost about 3,000 servicemen and foreign mercenaries in a week, which is more than in the previous week (over 2,500 killed) and the week before last reporting period (more than 1,400). This follows from TASS calculations based on data from daily briefings by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov on the progress of a special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Also, the APU continues to suffer significant losses in military equipment.
TASS collected key statistics on the special operation from October 31 to November 6.
Thus, the greatest losses during the week were suffered by the AFU in the Krasnolimansk direction - more than 1,100 servicemen. Among them are 100 militants of national formations and foreign mercenaries (including from the United States, Great Britain and Poland), destroyed by a precision strike of the Russian Aerospace Forces on November 6 near the settlement of Krasny Liman of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
In the Kupyansk direction, which was the leader in combat losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine last week, the enemy lost more than 980 soldiers killed, in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction - over 630, in the South Donets direction - 270. According to TASS estimates, the weekly losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to about 3,000 soldiers killed, over 300 wounded.
In the Kupyansk direction, the AFU lost 28 tanks as a result of unsuccessful attempts to attack. From the briefings of the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, it follows that in this direction the enemy tried to attack daily, on some days - with the forces of two battalions with foreign mercenaries attached.
16 Ukrainian tanks were destroyed in the Krasnolimansk direction, three tanks were destroyed in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, and another APU tank was lost in the South Donets direction.
In just a week, Ukrainian troops lost 48 tanks and 151 armored combat vehicles of various types, including infantry fighting vehicles, American HMMWVs (Humvees) and Ukrainian Kozaks. The Russian military also destroyed 155 APU vehicles.
The Ukrainian Air Forces lost a Su-24 bomber, two MiG-29 fighters, as well as three Mi-8 helicopters during the week. Russian aviation, missile and artillery units destroyed two AN/TPQ-50 and one AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery warfare radars, five Ukrainian radars from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, two Buk-M1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile systems, two M777 howitzers manufactured in the USA. Fire damage was inflicted on several platoons of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad" and "Hurricane". Two self-propelled artillery installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by barraging Russian ammunition.
In addition, Russian air defense systems intercepted 65 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian armed forces in the air, 104 HIMARS, Uragan and Alder MLRS projectiles, three American HARM anti-radar missiles, as well as two ballistic missiles of the Tochka-U operational tactical complex.
At the beginning of the reporting period, a massive strike of high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons hit the facilities of the control, communications and energy systems of Ukraine, while the Russian military department informed about a significant violation of the management of Ukrainian forces and their logistics, the difficulty of operations to supply groups in combat areas by rail. Production at the enterprises of the country's military-industrial complex has also been disrupted.
So, on November 4, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the defeat of the workshops of the enterprise in the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, where rocket engines were manufactured, and three workshops of the Kommunar plant in Kharkov, which produced projectiles for multiple rocket launchers. In addition, rocket weapons destroyed the headquarters of one of the units of foreign mercenaries in the area of the city of Nikolaev. On November 5, Konashenkov announced the defeat by Russian troops of the AFU command post, a storage base for Ukrainian weapons and military equipment.
120 rockets of the American MLRS HIMARS, 250 rockets of the MLRS "Smerch" and two transport-loading vehicles were destroyed as a result of a strike on a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk DNR.
In just a week, 30 control points of the APU, 21 warehouses and fuel storage were eliminated.
Ukrainian troops do not stop shelling the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZAES). In just a week, about 50 shells, including large-caliber ones, exploded in the city of Energodar and in the territories adjacent to the station. The shooting was conducted from settlements controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy's firepower was suppressed by the return fire of the Russian artillery, while the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the destruction of the Ukrainian Msta-B howitzer and two vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The radiation situation at the NPP remains normal.
