LLC "Rybinsk Shipyard" celebrates its 75th anniversary. Over the years, thousands of vessels of various classes and purposes have descended from her stocks.In Soviet times, these were wooden motorbikes for fishermen of the Caspian Sea, Azov, Baikal and Volga; the Admiralsky service and traveling boat, built in the amount of 2 thousand pieces for the USSR and abroad; a border boat for southern rivers, the Yaroslavna sanitary boat, the Kolonok refrigerator, 10 longline tuna, SVPBizon" with a trailer platform for unloading ships of the Northern Fleet in the raid, the Tapir SVP for oil and gas exploration on the Caspian shelf, a seiner trawler, a landing boat "Shark".
In the 90s and noughties, the shipyard, having passed into private ownership, built pleasure boats and motor yachts, engaged in their repair and modernization.
In 2015, the company joined the Kalashnikov Concern and embarked on a comprehensive development and production of high-tech amphibious, search and rescue and pleasure boats.
Today, the shipyard is building unique samples of naval equipment and weapons for the Navy and the civilian market, promising projects of watercraft are being developed.
In particular, the Rybinsk Shipyard is creating a line of combat boats ("BK"). The first to appear in it were the high-speed transport-amphibious boat "BK-16" and the high-speed amphibious assault boat "BK-10", built by order of the Navy and Rosgvardiya. Modifications of the boats "BK-16" and "BK-18", varieties of high–speed boats - "BK-9", "BK-10", "BK-10D" and "BK-11" were released.
The boats of the Leader series and a multifunctional boat with a set of universal diving equipment UMK-V became successful for the Rybinsk residents. They are designed to patrol the water area and control the navigation regime, prompt delivery of victims with first aid, fire extinguishing, search and rescue operations and diving operations. During operation, they have earned a reputation for reliable equipment. For example, in the Baltic Fleet, UMK-V regularly participates in the search and lifting of shells from the Great Patriotic War.
At present, static tests of the Haska-10 universal hovercraft are being carried out, in the design of which flexible skegs are used (skeg – fencing of the air cushion zone) – a compromise solution between a rigid and soft amphibious hull. Due to this, the shipbuilders intend to achieve the best handling characteristics while maintaining seaworthiness, seaworthiness and amphibiousness.
Rybinsk Shipyard is a full–cycle enterprise capable of not only building vessels based on third-party projects, but also independently creating projects of new watercraft. The company is provided with its own infrastructure necessary for the construction of ships. It has a territory of 155 thousand m2 and a water area of 26 thousand m2. The length of the mooring wall is 500 m, and a 40-meter slip with a lifting capacity of 400 tons allows vessels with a draft of up to 4 m to be lowered at any water level in the Volga.
The shipyard's products are of high quality, therefore they are in demand by target customers.
