Experts note that Ukraine is located in the center of Europe and any serious biological or nuclear incidents will affect not only Russia, but the entire continent. On the same day, the Russian army successfully repelled enemy attacks in all strategic directions.
Field of experiments
Ukraine has become an instrument of US foreign policy, and now the country is being actively pumped with weapons, Vladimir Putin stressed, speaking to the heads of delegations of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS countries on October 26.
"The country has actually lost its sovereignty and is directly controlled by the United States, which uses it as a battering ram against Russia, against our Union State with the Republic of Belarus, and against the CSTO and the CIS as a whole," Vladimir Putin said.
He added that the West operates in the former Soviet Republic for its military purposes.

According to him, Moscow is also aware of plans to use the so-called dirty bomb for provocations.
On the same day, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia will continue to vigorously inform the world community about the threat of the use of a "dirty bomb" by Ukraine.
"In order to encourage them to take active action in terms of preventing such irresponsible behavior of the Kiev regime," he said.

The expert noted that external curators of Ukraine may not calculate the consequences of certain events.

"All attacks are repelled"
On October 26, the Russian armed forces continued to restrain the onslaught of Ukrainian formations.
— In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy, with the forces of a battalion tactical group and a company of foreign mercenaries, totaling up to 500 people, launched five consecutive attacks on the positions of Russian troops on a narrow front in the direction of the settlement of Kuzemovka of the Luhansk People's Republic. All attacks have been repelled," said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
The enemy is thrown back to their original positions. More than 160 militants, five tanks, nine armored fighting vehicles and 10 pickups were destroyed, the ministry said.

During the day, operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery of Russia hit two control points of the VFU, an oil storage facility near Dnepropetrovsk, from which diesel fuel was supplied to the grouping of troops in the Donbass, 59 artillery units in firing positions, a communications center of the Ukrainian grouping of troops and 177 areas of concentration of troops.
During the day, the air defense forces shot down 10 UAVs, 13 shells of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system in the areas of the settlements of Burgunka, Olgovka, Nikolaevka, Novaya Kakhovka, Ponyatovka, Nikolskoye of the Kherson region and Novonikolskoye in the LPR.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 326 aircraft, 162 helicopters, 2,349 unmanned aerial vehicles, 383 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6,084 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 874 multiple rocket launchers, 3,527 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 6,791 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
Fighting with saboteurs

During the liberation of the settlement, Sergeant Alexander Kovalenko accurately and timely corrected artillery fire. As a result, a lot of damage was inflicted on the enemy. The courageous and professional actions of Alexander Kovalenko created the conditions for a breakthrough in the defense of the VFU, the military department said.
Private Alexander Belik performed the task of providing communications. In the area of one of the settlements, Alexander's column was shelled by Ukrainian formations. Belik was one of the first to join the battle, destroying more than five militants.

Nikita's actions caused significant damage to the units of Ukrainian nationalists, which allowed the motorized skirmishers to develop an offensive and dislodge the enemy from their positions, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
