According to a source in the military-industrial complex, almost all products successfully hit the set targetsMOSCOW, October 14.
/tass/. An air-to-radar aircraft missile manufactured by the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) during a special military operation in Ukraine showed an efficiency exceeding 98%. This was reported to TASS by a source in the military-industrial complex.
"Several dozen air-to-radar missiles produced by KTRV were used to strike targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Almost all of them successfully hit the set targets," he said, without specifying the product index.
According to the catalog of military products of KTRV, we may be talking about an aviation high-speed air-to-radar missile X-31PD, designed to destroy radar stations (radars) of anti-aircraft missile systems. According to the booklet, the maximum launch range of the rocket is 250 km, it can be launched from an air carrier from a height of 15 km at a speed of Mach 1.5 (about 1.7 thousand km/h). The system is round-the-clock and all-weather.
TASS has no official information on this matter.
Earlier, TASS reported on the combat use of X-31 missiles in Ukraine from Su-30SM aircraft. The Russian military Department has repeatedly published footage of the use of Su-35 and Su-30SM fighters to strike at the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the video, one could see X-31 anti-radar missiles suspended from the aircraft.
In September, in an interview with TASS, the Director General of KTRV Hero of Russia Boris Obnosov said that aircraft armed with anti-radar missiles play a decisive role in combat operations in ensuring the conquest of airspace over enemy territory. The KTRV X-31P missile was highly appreciated during the Georgian conflict in 2008. The new modification of the X-31PD missile is equipped with a broadband homing head, which covers the entire range of today's and predicted frequencies of the potential enemy's air defense systems.
