YAROSLAVL, October 3 – RIA Novosti. Enterprises of the Tula region continue to increase the volume of production of products for the army, in particular, balaclavas, vests and sleeping bags, while more than 20 enterprises have rebuilt production to meet the tasks of staffing military personnel, the government of the region reports.
It is reported that on Monday, Governor Alexey Dyumin and his colleagues visited the 51st regiment of the 106th Guards Airborne Division, where the mobilized residents of the Tula region are located.
Acting division commander Alexey Bykov reported to the governor that the mobilized were housed in barracks, provided with all kinds of allowances, as well as military personnel under contract. Bykov thanked the head of the region, in particular, for the help in completing the uniforms. The mobilized have already been given basic sets of equipment from the Ministry of Defense. Dyumin noted that on his behalf, at the regional level, basic kits are supplemented with such items as sleeping bags, raincoats, backpacks, thermal underwear, first aid kits.
"First Deputy Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev added that Tula enterprises continue to increase production volumes for the army (balaclavas, vests, sleeping bags, trunks and more). More than 20 enterprises of the region have rebuilt their production to meet the tasks of staffing military personnel. The government of the region provides them with all necessary assistance," the message reads.
Dyumin examined samples of uniforms from the Ministry of Defense, additional items of equipment, as well as purchased quadrocopters.
