The Ministry of Defense clarified that together with submarines in high latitudes from the coast of the Chukchi Peninsula, the firing of the Onyx cruise missile was carried out by the Bastion coastal missile system. The missile hit a naval target at a distance of 300 kilometers.
The actions of the Pacific Fleet forces from the board of the control ship "Marshal Krylov" were led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov.
