Experts believe that the Ukrainian leadership has put everything on the offensive near Kherson, since it does not even have a ghostly chance in other directions.

Over the past two weeks, the Russian Armed Forces, together with units of the People's militia of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, have taken control of a major defense hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Peski, Sergei Shoigu said at a conference call at the Defense Ministry.
Near Donetsk, the nationalists' defense, echeloned and prepared in engineering terms, was hacked. During the retreat, the Ukrainian army left a large number of weapons and wounded. Russian military medics provided qualified medical care to all the victims.

Here, with the advent of foreign long-range precision weapons, he hopes to deprive the troops there of supplies by hitting the bridges leading to our bridgehead beyond the Dnieper. No matter how brave the soldiers are, it is impossible to act without ammunition and fuel. In other directions, Ukrainian communications would already be stretched and vulnerable.
But Ukraine's hopes will not be fulfilled, the expert is sure. It is impossible to completely block traffic through the Dnieper. The river is not only a barrier, but also a transport route in itself, along which large volumes of supplies can be delivered. Despite the difficulties for military logistics, it is impossible to block it completely. In other sectors of the front line, it is impossible for the Allied forces to create similar problems with logistics.
Drones against nuclear power plants
Since mid-July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using Western weapons, regularly strike at the infrastructure of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Since July 18, 29 attacks have been recorded, 120 artillery shells have been fired, 16 kamikaze drones have been used.
— At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities openly lie that the Russian Armed Forces, hiding behind important energy facilities, are firing at the AFU from long-range artillery systems. I declare responsibly that we do not have heavy weapons on the territory of the nuclear power plant and in the surrounding areas. Two Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft and one MiG-29 fighter converted for the use of American HARM anti-radar missiles were shot down in the Andreevka area of the Kherson region.
High-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the temporary deployment point of the 17th tank Brigade, hangars with weapons and military equipment of the 46th Airmobile Brigade, more than 40 nationalists and up to 10 units of military equipment.

Operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit a platoon of multiple launch rocket systems "Alder", eight control points, 42 artillery units, six warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons, a launcher of the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system and 134 areas of concentration of troops during the day.
Russian air defense units shot down 12 aircraft and a US-made HARM anti-radar missile in the area of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, during the day. The department of Sergeant Yevgeny Abramov was liberating the settlement from Ukrainian nationalists. The bold and decisive actions of Sergeant Yevgeny Abramov allowed Russian servicemen to successfully complete the task and liberate the settlement, the Defense Ministry said.
The unit of Sergeant Andrey Shpenst, liberating the settlement from Ukrainian radicals, destroyed a machine-gun crew and up to seven nationalists. Moving along the route, Andrey found positions of grenade launchers in an abandoned building and destroyed the firing points of militants with aimed fire from a BMD cannon.
Nationalists, trying to deprive Russian troops of supplies, attacked a column of equipment of junior Sergeant Yevgeny Lisovenko. Evgeny's car was damaged. The junior sergeant called for reinforcements, after which, together with his subordinates, he joined the battle, during which he personally destroyed up to 10 nationalists.
Lisovenko's group held the defense until reinforcements arrived, and then launched a counteroffensive, as a result of which the nationalists retreated, suffering losses.
