TSAMTO, August 25. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson during a visit to Kiev announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 54 million pounds (63.5 million dollars).
The package includes missile systems, 850 Black Hornet micro-UAVs and 2 thousand other drones, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the office of the British Prime Minister.
The United Kingdom has allocated 2.3 billion pounds ($2.7 billion) in financial and military assistance to Kiev since the start of the Russian special operation on the territory of Ukraine, the office of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said.
Initially, the British Prime Minister's office reported on the delivery of 200 drones as part of a new aid package, but later corrected the figure to 2000, the agency notes.
According to the statement, the UK will also provide Ukraine with mine-resistant vehicles.
Britain, in addition, plans to expand the training of the Ukrainian military, and also states that eight more countries have joined this process.
