The fourth stage of the international cynological competition of the Army International Games-2022 (ArMI-2022) "Faithful Friend" was held in Uzbekistan. On August 24, the Ministry of Defense told about how the Russian military showed themselves at the games.
Dog handlers with service dogs overcame an obstacle course with barriers, crawled under an armored personnel carrier and performed throwing a training grenade for accuracy. Men's and women's calculations from Algeria, Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan took part in the competition. The results will be known after the meeting of the judicial commission.
The final stage of the Sea Cup competition was held in Baku. The participants competed in the speed of repairing damage to the hull with emergency equipment at the coastal training complex.
The best result was shown by the Azerbaijani Navy team. The Russians achieved a score of 34 points, taking second place. The third is a team from Iran. The Kazakhstan team closed the rating with a score of 30 points.
On the basis of the training complex of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, the most spectacular stage of the competition "Excellent Military Intelligence" ArMI-2022 was held. Military intelligence officers from Russia, India, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, Armenia, Belarus and Cameroon showed their skills.
In combat gear, they overcame a complex of obstacles, including 22 elements, including fences, building facades, vertical walls 6 m high, ropes with a counterweight and a moat with water. The scouts passed the "infected" areas of the terrain in gas masks and evacuated the "wounded". Before entering the "Scout Trail", the participants ran a 1.6 km overland mile.
Then the scouts set up an ambush, carried out an explosion, destroyed the enemy forces and captured the object.
The final stage of the international competition "Military Medical Relay" - the championship among men's teams was held in St. Petersburg. The participants overcame the obstacle course, provided first aid to the "wounded" and ferried him over the water barrier. The team members equipped the rope crossing themselves. The end point of the stage is loading into sanitary transport.
The Russian men's team repeated the success of our women's team and took first place at the stage, leaving behind the Uzbek team. The third place was taken by the team of Vietnam. Previously, the Russian team is in the lead in the team calculation.
The final stage of the ArMI-2022 Special Breakthrough competition has started in Sergiev Posad. This is a competition to deliver a mock military cargo through an obstacle course. Teams from Armenia, Zimbabwe and Tajikistan took part in the competition. They overcame a special lane, extinguished the fire, provided first aid to the "wounded", replaced the wheel on the car, reloaded the cargo layout from the faulty car to the working crane-free way, overcame the "infected" area and carried out partial special treatment.
All team members participate in the "Safe Frontier" stage at the same time. It is designed for well-coordinated collaboration. At the finish, the participating teams performed national dances with a storm of emotions.
The day before, the Ministry of Defense told about the course of the International Army Games-2022 in China and Iran. So, at the Chinese Korla training ground, Russian motorized skirmishers won bronze in the Suvorov Onslaught competition.
Army International Games are complex international competitions between units of the armed forces of different states. The competitions have been held since 2015 and include such competitions as "Tank Biathlon", "Sea Cup", "Master Gunsmith" and others. In 2021, 34 different competitions were held, of which Russia participated in 16, 95 countries were invited to participate.
