TSAMTO, August 22. On August 20, the results of the six-day work of the scientific and business program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" were summed up at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center.
With an introductory speech, the Chairman of the Military Scientific Committee of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Vasily Trushin, opened the final meeting of the program committee of the scientific and business program of the MVTF "Army–2022".
The Presidium also included the head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Alexander Osadchuk, Advisor to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrey Ilnitsky, Executive Director of JSC "International Congresses and Exhibitions" Artur Bayramov.
The extensive scientific and business program of the forum included 340 events, which is one and a half times more than last year. In just six days, 187 round tables, 52 conferences, 32 interdepartmental meetings and 69 briefings were held.
The program of events provided for consideration of topical issues in the following areas: medicine, robotics, domestic electronic component base, computer science and computer engineering. The participants discussed promising areas of research in the field of nanotechnology and nanomaterials. At the same time, artificial intelligence technologies and the diversification of the military-industrial complex have become the dominant topics.
A unique feature of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" was the simultaneous holding of several major international events at the forum sites at once: the Army International Games, the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security, the First International Anti-Fascist Congress, the Third International Fire and Rescue Congress organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The guests and participants of the Forum took part in the plenary session under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and with the participation of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko.
One of the most significant events of the NDP forum "Army-2022" was the congress "Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Scientific and Technological Development and Strategic Leadership", the plenary session of which was held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The Congress combined a complex of scientific and business events with speeches and presentations by leading Russian scientists with significant achievements in the field of digital technologies.
Within the framework of the congress, 22 events were held, which were attended by more than 2.5 thousand people, including 286 speakers, 97 doctors of sciences, 415 candidates of sciences.
In 2022, the scientific and business program of the forum was supplemented by the events of the Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA" - more than 20 scientific and business talks, round tables, reports of operators of scientific companies with the presentation of scientific projects – winners of the competition for the selection of exhibits at the MVTF "Army-2022".
The events were held at the central site of the military innograd – the "Discussion Club", with the involvement of eminent scientists and representatives of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Russia.
Traditionally, the Army forum allows the expert community to identify priority areas of interdepartmental cooperation in the field of state defense, the development of the military-industrial complex, the military-technical sphere, which subsequently find wide application in the creation of promising complexes and systems for military purposes.
Round tables, conferences and briefings were held at a high methodological level, with the participation of well-known public figures, military experts, general designers and leading scientists.
In order to improve the quality of the events of the scientific and business program, the moderators managed to gather representatives of state authorities, scientific and business circles, higher education and the Russian Academy of Sciences, well-known public figures, engineers, specialists and experts in the field of defense, as well as representatives of 80 foreign countries on one platform.
In order to expand the geography, a videoconference with 16 cities of Russia was organized during the events of the NDP Forum.
Following the results of these events, the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will develop a collection of reports on the program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022".
During the final meeting of the program committee of the NDP MVFT, a solemn award ceremony was held.
The Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Response of the Russian Federation were awarded in the nomination "For an integrated approach in the preparation and organization of events of the scientific and business program".
In the nomination "For active participation in the preparation and conduct of events of the scientific and business program, diplomas were awarded to research organizations, higher educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
In addition, the expert community noted active participants of the scientific and business program in the nomination "For the best event of the scientific and business program", the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
