TSAMTO, August 17. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and defense industry companies concluded state contracts totaling more than 522 billion rubles during the Army-2022 forum.
This was announced on August 16 by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko after the signing ceremony.
"Today, 7 state contracts with 26 enterprises of the military-industrial complex worth more than 522 billion rubles have been signed and 29 have been awarded. The signing of this package of contracts will be an important stage in the implementation of the state armament program," A.Krivoruchko said.
He specified that as a result of the fulfillment of these contracts, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be replenished with more than 3,700 new models of equipment, repairs will be carried out with the modernization of over 100 units of military and special equipment.
Before signing and handing over the state contracts, Alexey Krivoruchko said that the Russian Defense Ministry had adjusted the parameters of the state defense order, taking into account the experience of combat use of equipment.
"The military administration bodies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have carried out a lot of work on the analysis and refinement of the state defense order, taking into account the current military-political situation, ensuring the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purchase, repair and modernization of weapons and military equipment and special equipment," Alexey Krivoruchko said.
According to him, this work is based on the results of the combat use of weapons and military equipment, as well as on the capabilities of domestic industry and the economic situation in the country.
The Deputy Minister added that special attention of the Russian Defense Ministry at the conclusion of state contracts is paid to procurement, maintenance in combat condition, repair and modernization of weapons, military and special equipment in service. As a result, the Russian army will receive the most modern models of weapons, military and special equipment.
