MOSCOW, August 15/ Sputnik Radio. At the opening ceremony of the Army-2022 forum in the Patriot Park near Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the importance of the event for the development of international cooperation in the military sphere and the prospects for Russian weapons.
The President noted that from year to year the Army program is becoming more diverse and saturated. The Russian leader called the holding of the International Army Games (ArMI-2022) simultaneously with the forum an excellent platform for demonstrating the professional skills of the military.
He noted that in 2022, within the framework of the forum, about one and a half thousand domestic organizations of the military-industrial complex will present more than 28 thousand modern military and dual-use models.
About the prospects of Russian weapons
Many samples of advanced weapons of the Russian Federation are decades ahead of their foreign counterparts and significantly surpass them in characteristics.
He added that Russia is ready to develop cooperative ties to create new models of weapons and equipment.
About relations with Latin America, Asia, Africa
Russia values its ties with the states of Latin America, Asia and Africa and is ready to offer its allies the most modern types of weapons.
According to him, all over the world these types of weapons are valued among military professionals for reliability, quality and high efficiency.
"Almost all of them have been used in real combat operations more than once," he added.

Russia is interested in joint exercises with other countries and invites you to participate in them.
According to him, "thousands of military professionals from around the world are proud that military universities and academies of our country have become their alma mater," the president noted.
