The Turkish company Baykar intends to build in Ukraine not just a factory for the production of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones, but also to produce the entire line of drones developed by the company. This is reported by the Ukrainian media with reference to the statement of Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
The head of the Turkish company gave an interview to Ukrainian publications, in which he stated that he sees Ukraine as a strategic partner capable of providing the company with a production base and implementing long-term projects. According to him, in addition to the plant, a research center will be built. In the future, the company would like to produce in Ukraine not only the Bayraktar TB2, but also the newest Bayraktar Akinci drone and the Bayraktar Kizilelma unmanned fighter.

Earlier in Kiev, they said that the issue of building a plant for the production of Bayraktar TB2 drones has almost been resolved, the Turkish company has allegedly already bought land, it remains to coordinate some issues. Zelensky and the company want to produce drones both for the APU and for export. The Kremlin, commenting on Kiev's plans, said that in case of construction, the plant will be demilitarized along with other military infrastructure of Ukraine.
