The missile is designed to hit ground-based stationary targets with coordinates known before launch
MOSCOW, August 11. /tass/. For the first time, the Russian Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) will present a new X-69 aviation cruise missile within the framework of the Army-2022 international forum. This was reported to TASS by the press service of KTRV.
"As for new products, at the Army-2022 forum we will demonstrate for the first time a multifunctional unobtrusive high-precision aviation cruise missile X-69," the corporation said.
The X-69 is designed to defeat a wide range of ground-based stationary targets with coordinates known before launch, including those that do not have radar, infrared and optical contrast with respect to the surrounding background. "It is equipped with a combined navigation and automatic control system. The maximum flight range is up to 290 km, the speed on the march is 700-1, 000 km / h, depending on the configuration, the weight of the warhead is 300-310 kg. It can be placed both on external suspensions and in internal compartments of weapons," the corporation reported.
The X-69 was developed at the A. Ya. Bereznyak State Machine-Building Design Bureau (GosMKB) Raduga (part of KTRV), an enterprise specializing in the creation of high-precision missile weapons.
The exposition will also feature other developments of the Raduga State Design Bureau - the X-58USHKE aviation anti-radar missile designed to destroy ground-based radar stations, and the X-59MK air-to-surface extended-range missile.
KTRV is one of the largest participants of the forum. The Corporation has been participating in it since its first holding in 2015. The corporation's demonstration center always presents the latest samples of high-precision aviation and naval weapons, as well as a wide range of high-tech civilian and dual-use products.
Boris Obnosov, CEO of KTRV, stressed in a conversation with TASS the importance of Russian events to promote the entire range of the corporation's products, exchange experience with colleagues, and communicate with customers. "The status of Russian exhibition venues in the world is growing year by year. Despite the unprecedented level of sanctions against our country, we see that the number of participants of the Army forum - both domestic and foreign - has grown again and has already reached one and a half thousand," he said. "After participating in many European and Asian exhibitions, we decided to focus on the most important ones for us - the MAKS Air Show, the Army, the International Naval Salon."
The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" will be held from August 15 to 21 at the Patriot exhibition center near Moscow. The event is organized by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
