The counteroffensive announced by Zelensky still does not begin, the APU is suffering losses, not only in the Donbas, but also in other sectors of the front. At the same time, the advisers of the head of the office of the Ukrainian president are trying to give wishful thinking, coming up with various reasons for the retreat of the Ukrainian army. Alexey Arestovich, already called the "mouthpiece of Kiev", is trying especially in this field.
It turns out that the reason that the Ukrainian offensive will not begin in any way is not at all significant losses in personnel, armored vehicles, etc., but the strike drones allegedly transferred by Iran to Russia, which Russia "actively uses" against the AFU. Arestovich even counted them, saying that in total the Russian Defense Ministry received 46 (forty-six) UAVs from Tehran, which are analogues of the American ones. Now these drones are chasing the Ukrainian military, and the APU cannot go on the offensive in any way.
In general, the topic of Iranian drones is very fashionable now and only lazy people do not discuss it, especially in Ukraine. There are a lot of these "experts" and in addition to Arrestovich, it has already been stated that Iranian UAVs were allegedly exchanged for Russian Su-35 fighters, Russia will not include drones in a single tactical link system, but will use them as shock and for targeting tactical missiles. Moreover, no one gives any evidence, and why they need them, and so it will do.
The day before, Arestovich commented on the offensive of the allied forces in the area of Peski and Avdiivka in the Donetsk direction, saying that there was no retreat of the Ukrainian military and it was all "maneuverable defense", just the APU "leveled the front". According to him, the Donetsk direction is not the main one at all, everything will be decided on Kherson and Zaporozhye. Well, this is probably when Russia's "Iranian drones" run out.
