The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck a ship repair plant in Odessa and disabled the capacities of the enterprise for the repair and modernization of ships of Ukraine. This was announced on Sunday, July 24, by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
Also in the seaport of the city of Odessa on the territory of the plant, a Ukrainian warship that was in dock and a warehouse of Harpoon anti-ship missiles delivered to Kiev by the United States were destroyed.
"As a result of the fire damage to the positions of the 108th and 109th battalions of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Verkhnekamenskoye settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic, more than 70% of the personnel were destroyed," Konashenkov said.
In addition, in Nikolaev, the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the warehouses of weapons and ammunition of the 28th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 123rd brigade of territorial defense on the territory of the diesel locomotive repair plant. As a result, more than 50 personnel, more than 3 thousand artillery ammunition of various calibers and 10 armored vehicles were destroyed.
On the same day, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Kalibr missiles destroyed the military infrastructure facility of the Odessa port. According to her, as a result, the Ukrainian military boat was sent with a precision strike "to the address beloved by the Kiev regime."
On July 13, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed more than 350 Ukrainian military and 20 pieces of equipment from the operational-tactical group "Kakhovka" at the shipyard in Nikolaev.
