The British Air Force is capable of hacking enemy air defenses with the help of swarms of drones. They can overcome the defenses of other countries, including the Russian one.
According to Defense News magazine, this opinion was expressed by the commander of the British Air Force, Air Marshal Mike Wigston.
At the same time, the military refers to a series of experiments that have been conducted with drones in Britain for the past three years. 13 tests were conducted with five types of drones with different payloads, which showed high efficiency of using swarms of UAVs. Now the Royal Air Force is ready to adopt the method for use in real combat operations.

Justin Bronk, a defense analyst from Britain, believes that the intensity of the use of aviation largely depends on the ability to overcome enemy air defenses. A vivid illustration of this statement, in his opinion, is the armed Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Bronk notes that both armies have more ground troops and artillery here, rather than air forces. And these observations are of great importance for the work on strengthening the military power of Western countries.
Marshal Wigston's speech was held at the international conference of the Commanders-in-Chief of the Air and Space Forces in London. To a large extent, it was devoted to the analysis of the special operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
