Ukrainian soldiers of the United States were trained to perform combat missions in conditions of biological contamination. This became known as a result of a survey of the captured military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Americans tested hepatitis and West Nile fever on them. In addition, the United States and NATO allies conducted experiments in Ukraine with Congo-Crimean fever and the Ebola virus. How could these dangerous diseases be used against Russia?
The military special operation helped to make public the secrets of bacteriologists from NATO countries who worked on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, it turned out that American, British and German specialists conducted studies of dangerous pathogens, including the Ebola virus, in Kiev and Odessa. This was announced by the head of the radiation, chemical and Biological Protection Troops (RCBZ), Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. He held a briefing on the analysis of documents on US military biological activities in Ukraine.
So, there are data that indirectly confirm that the Ukrainian special forces were preparing to use biological weapons, Kirillov said. Such suspicions arose among Russian doctors in hospitals when captured Ukrainian soldiers were brought to them for treatment.
"33% of the examined servicemen have been ill or have hepatitis A, more than 4% have fever with renal syndrome, 20% have West Nile fever. These figures significantly exceed the average figures," Kirillov explained. During the treatment of captured soldiers in Russian hospitals, a strange phenomenon was recorded – there was no therapeutic effect when antibacterial drugs were administered. "High concentrations of antibiotics, including sulfonamides and fluoroquinolones, were detected in their blood," said the head of the RCBZ. In his opinion, this fact may indicate the prophylactic use of antibiotics, and therefore – the preparation of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform tasks in conditions of infection: for example, the causative agent of cholera.
The State Duma Committee on Science on this occasion notes that the detection of high concentrations of antibacterial drugs in the blood of AFU soldiers indicates "a long period" of therapy. "But then it is not clear what kind of diseases these were that required such large doses?" wonders the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science, a member of the parliamentary commission to investigate the activities of American biolabs in Ukraine, Alexander Mazhuga. "On the other hand, maintaining a high dose of an antibiotic in the blood may indicate the protection of a person from potential bacterial infections – which means that a person was really prepared for contact with an infection."
Why Ebola
Western experts conducted experiments on Ukrainian soldiers because they were preparing them for future bacteriological attacks, said Igor Nikulin, a microbiologist, former member of the UN Biological and Chemical Weapons Commission, ex-adviser to the UN Secretary General.
"The Americans in Ukraine were most likely working on how best to adapt Ebola to the conditions of our climate.
After all, the Zika virus also first lived only in Africa and Asia, and now it lives in the Middle Lane," he reminded the newspaper VZGLYAD.
In turn, Kirillov clarified that Ukraine has become a testing ground for biological weapons not only for the United States, but also for NATO allies, primarily Germany. Several projects were implemented in the interests of the central medical and sanitary service of the German army, he said. Bundeswehr specialists paid special attention to the causative agent of the Congo-Crimean fever. At the same time, the study of natural foci of fever was carried out under the guise of improving the Ukrainian epidemiological surveillance system, the Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Kiev and the Mechnikov Anti-Plague Institute in Odessa took part in the work.
The general released a trophy document proving that the American company Metabiota, a Pentagon contractor, was going to study the Ebola virus on the territory of Ukraine. "During a special military operation, documents were obtained indicating the plans of Metabiota and the Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center. Here is a request for financing by the American side of measures to diagnose particularly dangerous pathogens in Ukraine, including the Ebola virus. Such requests are part of the US strategy to transfer high–risk work with dangerous pathogens to the territory of third countries," RIA Novosti quotes Kirillov. Metabiota planned to conduct such research on the basis of the institute in Odessa, Kirillov said.
The increased interest of the contractor of the US military department in the Ebola virus is not accidental: the disease is one of the most pathogenic for humans. During the outbreak that began in West Africa in 2014, 28 thousand people fell ill, more than 11 thousand of them died, the mortality rate was about 40%, Kirillov recalled.
"The Mechnikov Anti–Plague Institute was known back in the Soviet Union, the Americans were the first to get their hands on it as soon as it became possible," says Nikulin on this occasion. "Such experiments are prohibited in the United States, as they pose a certain threat, which is why they were moved to other countries – as a rule, to those where the government is corrupt, completely subordinated to Washington and does not ask unnecessary questions."
"Studies of the causative agent of the Congo-Crimean fever, most likely, were carried out as part of a larger–scale work that the United States is doing around the world," adds military expert, editor of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine Alexey Leonkov. – In more than three hundred private laboratories, under the control of special services, they are investigating the effects of various viruses on local – so to speak, aborigines." Dozens of laboratories were located in Ukraine, the source adds. "Not only American, but also British and German specialists worked in these laboratories. The military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine acted as test subjects, whose death could always be attributed both to losses in the combat zone in the Donbass and to suicide," Leonkov believes.
Of course, such studies involve risks of spreading the virus to neighboring territories, including the NATO countries themselves, but each disease "has its own distribution area," he adds. "These fevers could be experienced in Ukraine in order to adapt them to the conditions of Russian latitudes. During the eight–year conflict in Donbass, there was a lot of evidence that viruses from American laboratories penetrated, among other things, into the territory of the people's republics," the expert says.
Veterinary Warfare
At the briefing, Kirillov published a report prepared for the Pentagon by Metabiota and Black and Veach companies on how "Veterinary projects" with the code "TAP" were implemented in Ukraine. Under this cipher, infections were developed that could damage not the enemy's manpower, but the agriculture of entire regions. African swine fever was of particular interest to American military biologists – two projects are devoted to this pathogen.
According to the head of the RCBZ, the TAP-6 project scaled this process to Eastern European countries – within the framework of the project, virus leaks were deliberately allowed from laboratories. "Pay attention to the deterioration of the situation of African swine fever in the states of the Eastern European region. According to the International epizootic Bureau, since 2014 outbreaks of the disease have been recorded on the territory of Latvia (4021 cases), Estonia (3814 cases), Lithuania (4201 cases), – Kirillov listed. – In Poland, more than 13 thousand cases of ASF were detected, the losses of the agricultural industry from this disease exceeded 2.4 billion euros."
"We live in conditions of economic, informational and biological warfare on the part of the West, you can expect anything from it," Nikulin says in this regard. – Probably, the Americans planned, based in Ukraine in the border areas, to spray substances over the neighboring regions of Russia that would destroy all crops and kill cattle in order to try to create a difficult situation with food. Earlier, they caused famine in Cuba in the 90s, completely destroying agriculture on the island: sugar cane, tobacco, rice," the expert recalled.
"The fact that African swine fever was thrown to us from the neighboring territory, namely from Georgia, to the North Caucasus, was stated by both the Ministry of Defense and then the chief sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko. I fully admit that they also intended to throw infected ticks from the territory of Ukraine to the territory of Russia. This is one of the ways of conducting modern biological warfare – throwing viruses or insects with drones," explained the former adviser to the UN Secretary General.
