Concern Uralvagonzavod of Rostec State Corporation has created the country's first fast-charging electric filling station for electric cars. Its capacity is 150 kW – stations with such characteristics have not been produced in Russia before. The unique development will be presented at the X International Industrial Forum Innoprom, which will be held from July 4 to 7, 2022 in Yekaterinburg.
The fast-charging electric filling station developed by JSC NPO Elektromashina is an infrastructure project equipped with an intelligent system "Amasis 2.0". This is a complex of modular solutions in the field of lighting, security, environmental monitoring and automation, also created by specialists of the Chelyabinsk enterprise. Amasis 2.0 provides video analytics, ecomonitoring and the possibility of distributing free Wi-Fi to the electric filling hub. Additionally, charging stations can be equipped with an energy storage system in case of insufficient power at the connection point.
"It is impossible to imagine the automotive market today without electric cars. By 2030, according to the concept of development of electric transport production adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation, every tenth car produced in Russia should be electric, and the number of electric filling stations should grow to 72 thousand. I am sure that the development of Uralvagonzavod will help to competently build a high-quality charging infrastructure in the country. This is the first fully domestic fast–charging electric filling station capable of charging a car by 80% in just 20 minutes," said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.
JSC "NPO "Elektromashina" is ready to offer a comprehensive solution for the improvement of EHS "turnkey" in any place on the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the idea of the developers, the electric filling hub will include directly the equipment of the charging station itself, construction and installation work and an adapted intelligent system "Amasis 2.0".
"We will present a prototype of the station at Innoprom. This is a joint project of the transport engineering cluster. Such cooperation made it possible to carry out the station in accordance with the trend towards import substitution of foreign components. At the exhibition, we will demonstrate a 150 kW modification, but also, upon request, we are ready to consider the possibility of producing a station with a capacity of 44 kW. Several regions of the Russian Federation are potentially interested in our development, with which preliminary negotiations have already been held," commented Leonid Zelepukhin, Director for Strategic and Innovative Development of NPO Elektromashina JSC.
In August 2021, the Government of the Russian Federation approved the concept of development of electric transport production and infrastructure for its use until 2030. According to the project of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia "Highly automated electric transport in cities", the development of charging stations is primarily planned in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, as well as on the M12 Moscow-Kazan and M4 Don highways. From 2024, the experience of pilot regions will be scaled to the entire territory of the Russian Federation.
