Despite Ukraine's desire to receive heavy armored vehicles and combat aircraft, the West will not do this. As French President Emmanuel Macron, who visited Kiev, explained, there is an agreement not to supply some types of military equipment to Ukraine.
The French leader spoke with Ukrainian journalists, answering a number of questions concerning the supply of weapons to Ukraine. This topic is now one of the main ones, since Zelensky and his office linked the imminent counteroffensive in the Donbas with the supply of Western weapons. In general, the sooner they deliver, the sooner we will begin to counterattack.
However, in the offensive, if it takes place at all, the AFU will have to do without Western-made tanks and combat aircraft, there will be no supplies of these types of military equipment. According to Macron, there is an unspoken agreement between the countries that are sponsors of the Kiev regime not to supply tanks and planes. Moreover, this position is almost official and Kiev knows it perfectly well.

To date, only Germany and Spain have promised to supply Western-style tanks to Ukraine. In both cases, it was about German Leopard tanks, and in both cases an unofficial ban was imposed on possible deliveries. At some point, the topic of tanks for Ukraine disappeared from the agenda, although no statements about a specific refusal were made.
There is no specific information on the supply of aircraft to Kiev, they were not officially transmitted, but data flashed in the press that the West supplied "spare parts for aircraft equipment" to Ukraine. By the way, after that, the Ukrainian Air Force became more active, resuming flights of Su-25 attack aircraft.
