The shipyards of Kherson may soon start working again. Kherson shipbuilders can start building ships for the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
This was stated to RIA Novosti by Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civil administration (CAA) of the Kherson region.
According to the official, the shipbuilding enterprises of Kherson in the future can begin to fulfill applications from the Russian Armed Forces. The region has everything necessary for this, including three powerful enterprises specializing in the construction of ships and vessels.

The official also noted that the shipyards of Kherson could arrange the construction of civil vessels.
The Russian special military operation, which began on February 24, continues in Ukraine. Informing in his speech about the beginning of the SVO, Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined its goals, the main of which is to protect the residents of the DPR and LPR from the aggression of the Kiev security forces. They have been subjected to bullying and genocide for eight years.
During the operation, the Russian military cleared the entire Kherson region and the southern part of the Zaporozhye region from the armed formations of Ukraine. The leadership and the majority of residents of these regions have expressed a desire to become citizens of the Russian Federation.
