Moscow. June 14. INTERFAX - More than 20 ships of the Baltic Fleet together with aviation conducted exercises on air defense (air defense), the press service of the Baltic Fleet reported on Tuesday.
"The training tasks were fulfilled by the crews of the Baltic Fleet ship groups consisting of a patrol ship, corvettes, small missile ships and boats, as well as small anti-submarine ships and minesweepers," the press service reported.
It is noted that in total more than 20 crews of surface ships of the Baltic Fleet were involved in the exercise.
"According to the plan of the exercise, by means of radio surveillance of ships, the approach of a simulated enemy aircraft to the naval forces at sea was detected, which simulated aircraft and helicopters of the naval aviation of the fleet in the amount of more than 10 units," the fleet said.
According to the BF, after the operators of combat posts classified air targets, they were conditionally destroyed by calculations of shipboard anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems.
