"High-precision long—range air-launched missiles on the outskirts of Kiev destroyed T-72 tanks supplied by Eastern European countries and other armored vehicles placed in the hulls of a car repair company," he said.
In addition, the Russian Aerospace Forces struck factory workshops in Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Chasov Yar, where military equipment for the AFU was repaired and restored, the general added.
Over the past day, the control points of the 81st and 95th airborne assault brigades and six areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, two launchers of the Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, two combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, three military depots and the American AN/TPQ counter-battery radar station were hit-50, Konashenkov said.
According to him, tactical and army aviation destroyed three control points, 65 areas of concentration of manpower and equipment and three ammunition depots.
In addition, the Ukrainian side lost two more aircraft: a MiG-29 in an air battle near Slavyansk and a military transport An—26 with weapons and equipment, which was shot down near Odessa.
Russian air defense forces also shot down drones, including Bayraktar TB2, two Tochka-U missiles and three Uragan MLRS projectiles.
In total, 189 Ukrainian aircraft, 129 helicopters, 1,114 UAVs, 330 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,416 tanks and other armored vehicles, 470 multiple rocket launchers, 1,778 field artillery and mortars, as well as 3,419 military vehicles were destroyed during the military special operation.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin stressed, its goal is "to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." According to the Ministry of Defense, by the end of March, the Russian army had completed the main tasks of the first stage — it significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine. The main goal in the department was called the liberation of Donbass.
