The Captain Breichman trawler is the fourth vessel under construction for the NOREBO Holding. The trawler is named after the Honored worker of the Fisheries of Russia Lev Breichman, who worked for many years on fishing vessels of the Murmansk fleet. In total, the series should include ten processor trawlers of the 170701 project.
After launching on the trawler, the completion work will continue, the installation of the fish farm and the sewing of the premises will be carried out. While there is no information about the timing of the transfer of the vessel to the customer, but earlier at the Northern Shipyard they planned to hand over four trawlers by the end of this year, which means that Captain Breichman should be included in this four.
The freezing trawler processor of the 170701 project was developed by the Nautic Rus design Bureau and is designed to operate in the North Atlantic. In total, it is planned to build ten vessels, six of which will operate in the Northern Basin, and four in the Far East. A waste-free fish and seafood processing factory is being installed on board the trawler. The vessel has increased seaworthiness due to the capsule-shaped hull and Ice2 ice class, which allows the trawler to operate in ice up to 0.5 m thick.
The main characteristics of project 170701: maximum (overall) length – 81.6 m, width – 16 m, speed – 15 knots, displacement – 5500 tons, main engine power – 6.2 MW, total capacity – 150 tons of fish per day, freezing capacity – 100 tons of fish per day.
