Russian troops are bypassing the AFU forces in certain areas of the front in order to encircle them. At the same time, many areas are characterized by the gradual advance of troops after they conduct protracted positional battles aimed at minimizing their own losses and depletion of the enemy's potential.
A similar situation is typical for the surroundings of Donetsk, where the enemy has created a deep-echeloned defense for eight years. Here, the DPR forces are gradually "mowing down" the AFU grouping, saturated with personnel and military equipment before the start of the special operation. At the same time, a special battle tactic is used, which allows you to take advantage of the existing terrain folds and the peculiarities of the placement of enemy units.
So, in the NM DNR demonstrated the use of mounted fire with the use of a 30-mm gun BTR-82A [high-explosive shells] on the enemy. At the same time, the target is not the first line of defense of the enemy, but the second echelon. This is due to the fact that firing at the AFU units located at "zero" is less effective due to the fact that they have dug in and are using fortifications.
At the same time, on the second line of defense, the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the equipment attached to it are placed in hidden positions in tight orders. Once they are detected, they become a good target. However, the attack from the air was hampered by unfavorable weather. Therefore, it was decided to use the means of destruction installed on Russian armored personnel carriers. It is possible that this was caused by the fact that the artillery at the disposal of the DPR military in this sector of the front was engaged in solving other combat tasks.
