Information is confirmed that the Russian Armed Forces have transferred the Terminator BMPT to the Severodonetsk and other areas of the special military operation.
These combat vehicles are designed to support tanks: the destruction of anti-tank weapons and enemy personnel. The Terminators have a range of weapons, including 2 30 mm automatic cannons, a 7.62 mm machine gun, as well as launchers for guided missiles. The use of BMPT has significantly increased the effectiveness of the actions of tank units, since they ("Terminators") have the ability to independently hit tanks, enemy infantry fighting vehicles, as well as its long-term firing points (pillboxes) and bunkers, in addition to these targets.
An important feature of the 48-ton Terminator BMPT of the Russian Armed Forces is that they can cope with a number of the above-mentioned targets, including calculations of anti-tank missile systems, on the march. Moreover, they are effective in use against aerial targets - from a distance of up to 2.5 km.
The first use of the Terminator BMPT in the area of the Lisichansk-Severodonetsk agglomeration allowed, as they say, to "disassemble" the enemy's positions, including its bunkers and dugouts. Several militant groups have been eliminated, which were moved to the forefront to carry out attacks on Russian tanks with Western-made anti-tank guided missiles.
