The latest BMPT "Terminator" was involved in a special operation in Ukraine.
The TG channel of the ANNA-News news agency posted a video of the Terminator BMPT with the symbol "V" moving through a settlement in the area of Severodonetsk. These combat vehicles were first seen in Ukraine since the beginning of the special operation.
The Terminator BMPT was adopted in 2018. The car can be figuratively called a "bodyguard" of tanks. Acting as part of tank formations, it must destroy the enemy's anti-tank weapons. The "Terminator" is also designed to suppress enemy aircraft, infantry fighting vehicles, pillboxes and bunkers, low-flying targets.
To do this, the BMPT has a wide arsenal: the Kornet ATGM, two 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannons, a 7.62-mm tank machine gun, automatic grenade launchers AG-17D.
In terms of protection, the Terminator can be compared with the T-90, and in some ways surpasses it. For example, it is equipped with a dynamic protection system "Relict". The BMPT is protected from enemy anti-tank melee weapons within 360 degrees.
