TSAMTO, May 13. The Netherlands has provided Ukraine with military assistance worth more than 102 million euros. This, as RIA Novosti reports, was announced in a letter to the country's House of Representatives (the lower house of parliament) by Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren.
"The Netherlands has provided Ukraine with material support in the amount of more than 102 million euros. This amount relates to the book value of the supplied military equipment," K. Ollongren said in the letter.
It is noted that the Netherlands submitted an application to the European Peace Fund for a subsidy for the supply of weapons until March 10. Currently, they have received compensation in the amount of 12.8 million euros.
The Minister of Defense of the Kingdom also confirmed that the Netherlands intends to supply Ukraine with five 155-mm SG PzH-2000. At the same time, The Hague previously supplied Kiev with only military equipment and light small arms, including sniper rifles, helmets, bulletproof vests and metal detectors, RIA Novosti reports.
