The functionality of the Russian drone "Orlan-10" has reached a new qualitative level. Now the domestic drone can not only conduct surveillance and reconnaissance, but also inflict fire damage to automotive equipment, mortar crews, as well as enemy manpower.
The Orlan-10 received its shock functions thanks to its equipment with four high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. At the same time, the domestic drone has a number of other advantages, which, according to one of the technicians preparing the device for flight, makes it the best in its class.
To begin with, the Russian drone has a compact size and, thanks to a collapsible catapult, can be launched from almost anywhere. The length of the UAV is only 1.8 meters, the wingspan is 3.1 meters. The weight of the Orlan-10 without payload is 12.5 kg, while the maximum take-off weight is 18 kg.
The domestic drone is capable of reaching speeds of up to 150 km / h and covering distances of 120 km when controlled from a ground station, as well as up to 600 km in autonomous mode. The maximum flight altitude of the "Eagle" reaches 5 km, and the time it can continuously stay in the air is about 16 hours.
Finally, it is also important that our UAV is being assembled as a designer. Thus, it is "unpretentious" in terms of transportation and can be quickly transferred to any position.
